Position :
Gustave Eiffel University opens a position for an Assistant Professor in innovation studies and transition studies, with a specialization in sustainability transitions. The position is at ESIEE Paris (https://www.esiee.fr/en), an engineering school member of Gustave Eiffel University.
Teaching responsibilities concern the following topics: ethics and societal responsibility of engineers, responsible innovation, management simulation, introduction to the firm, innovation management… Most of the teaching will be provided in French, and the ability to teach in English is seen as an advantage
Research responsibilities will be conducted at LISIS (Interdisciplinary Lab Sciences Innovations Society - http://umr-lisis.fr/), which is specialised in the analysis of the processes of societal transformations induced by the sciences, technologies, innovations and their governing institutions. The candidate will be involved in the Thematic Group “Innovation” which focuses on innovation and transitions. Her/his research project should focus on societal changes induced by SDGs and sustainable transition in innovation ecosystems, in one or more industries/sectors/domains relevant for LISIS (digital, agrofood, biotechnologies, nanotechnologies, advanced manufacturing, energy…). The research profile implies the mastery of a variety of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
