The International Journal of Sociology of Agriculture and Food (IJSAF) in an open-access, on-line academic journal that provides a forum for theoretically informed empirical research and critical debates about local, regional, national and/or global food and agricultural systems. It is open to contributions not only from sociologists, but also from scholars in related disciplines. It welcomes interdisciplinary approaches to social, cultural, political and environmental aspects of food production, distribution and consumption, as well as processes of agricultural change. All articles published in this journal undergo external, double-blind peer review.
IJSAF is the official journal of the Research Committee on Sociology of Agriculture and Food (RC-40) of the International Sociological Association (ISA). At this time, RC40 is soliciting applications for a new Editor-in-Chief for a term of 4 years. See the full call for details
